Job Summary

Wood is seeking a skilled Contracts and Procurement Specialist to join our Power Solutions group in Vancouver. This role is responsible for the timely and accurate execution of project procurement and subcontracting, ensuring key milestones are met, commercial risks are minimized, and customer expectations are exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project objectives
  • Manage subcontractor relationships and ensure compliance with Wood's Supply Chain Code of Business Conduct
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks associated with procurement and subcontracting
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in procurement and contract management, with experience in a fast-paced environment. You will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
