Transportation Specialist

JNR Freight System is seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods. Your duties will include addressing customer complaints, loading and unloading goods, and performing routine vehicle inspections. You will also be responsible for overseeing the condition of our vehicles and equipment, and performing emergency roadside repairs. Additionally, you will be required to receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information and hours of service. If you have a valid AZ class license and are willing to train, we encourage you to apply. This is a permanent position with a 40-50 hour workweek. Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities:

* Address customer complaints or concerns
* Load and unload goods
* Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
* Perform brake adjustments
* Perform emergency roadside repairs
* Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
* Perform preventive maintenance
* Receive and relay information to central dispatch
* Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Requirements:

* AZ class license
* Willingness to train
* Permanent position
* 40-50 hour workweek
* Fluency in English
