Job Title: Truck Trailer Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team at SPEEDHAUL TRUCKING INC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks and trailers, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test automotive systems and components
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
Requirements:
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • or equivalent experience
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a dusty, outdoors environment with hot and noisy conditions.
