Server - Food and Beverage Team Member

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our Food and Beverage team at Marriott International. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities- Take food and beverage orders from guests and serve them in a timely and efficient manner.
- Set tables according to the type of event and service standards.
- Answer questions about menu selections and provide recommendations.
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, and product availability.
- Record transactions in our point-of-sale system.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and beverage.
- Maintain the cleanliness of work areas, china, and glassware throughout the day.
- Complete closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights.
- Present the guest check and process payment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
