Job Title: Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at EPCM. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in various settings, including residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring, marking, and cleaning.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and grouts to ensure a strong and durable bond.
  • Set tiles in place, using hand tools and power equipment to achieve precise cuts and alignments.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings, using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
  • Estimate costs and materials for tile installation projects.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in tile installation.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
