Lead Production Excellence at Masco Canada
We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Masco Canada. As a key member of our Operations Management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of production employees and ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of production employees and ensure they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety.
- Meet quality targets by participating in process improvements and implementing Lean principles.
- Ensure the execution of the production plan to meet customer demand.
- Participate in Lean Glasshouse and COQ to meet TCP targets.
- Communicate with hourly employees regarding policies, procedures, and changes.
- Coordinate inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Responsible for employee training and tracking of new hires and cross-training.
- Verify production entries, troubleshoot, and audit daily reports.
- Conduct new employee evaluations during the probationary period.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in manufacturing, preferably in a Lean environment.
- CI/process development background is an asset.
- Experience leading and motivating teams.
- Proven experience in a similar role (unionized experience is an asset).
- Computer skills and aptitude.
- Effective communication and collaborative skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills - oral and written.
