Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cashier Team Lead to join our team at True Value Gas Station. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cashiers and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage and allocate tasks to our sales team to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
  • Authorize Payments: Process payments by cheque and maintain accurate records.
  • Order Merchandise: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to meet business needs.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service and promote sales of our products.
  • Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
  • Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure efficient stock management.
  • Supervise Workers: Provide guidance and support to our sales team to ensure they meet their performance goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Strong client focus, organized, and team player.
