About the Role

The Director of Talent will serve as an active leader, engaging in recruitment strategies, resource allocation, and overseeing the talent team and comprehensive recruitment processes, including intern hiring, across all sectors. The ideal candidate will be a driving force for our culture, possessing a proven track record of developing and managing teams while having the ability to influence and instigate change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the complete recruitment cycle for all departments within the organization.
  • Lead and manage the recruitment process for intern positions across all teams.
  • Direct the internal Talent PMO, being accountable for all initiatives and projects that elevate the Talent function's strategy and direction.
  • Facilitate the growth and development of the Talent Acquisition department, ensuring effective management of daily recruitment operations.
  • Foster high engagement levels within the team by establishing clear performance standards and providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with corporate hiring managers to evaluate current and future staffing needs.
  • Generate and present weekly reports and dashboards on recruitment activities, utilizing data to inform decisions.
  • Design and implement diverse sourcing strategies for attracting both passive and active candidates.
  • Develop and execute strategies to attract and hire qualified candidates, including interviewing methods, training, referral initiatives, and co-op programs.
  • Establish and monitor annual objectives and key results aligned with the company's strategic goals.
  • Work alongside the People and Culture team to drive the overall P&T strategy for the department and the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining candidate networks through market research and ongoing relationship management.
  • Proficient in strategic thinking and adept at cultivating networks and relationships.
  • Collaborative team player with experience working alongside HR colleagues and senior business leaders on various HR initiatives.
  • Experience applying a DE&I perspective and best practices in all recruitment matters.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruiting.
  • 5+ years of experience as a hands-on team leader with a background in managing a Talent team.
  • Experience recruiting for roles requiring advanced technical skills, such as Engineering, Product, and Data & Analytics.
  • Skilled in candidate sourcing for both Technical (Engineering, Product, Data & Analytics, etc.) and Business (Human Resources, Finance, etc.) environments.
  • Familiarity with our applicant tracking system, Lever, for seamless recruitment operations.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of successful collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes while serving as both a partner and mentor.
  • Solid understanding of recruitment methodologies, including compensation benchmarking, employer branding, and leveraging technology and AI to enhance recruitment practices.
  • Results-oriented and data-driven, capable of managing tight timelines with enthusiasm and supporting proposals with quantitative analyses.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals across the organization.
  • Preference for candidates with a blend of startup, agency, and corporate recruiting experience.
