We operate a range of businesses, including food and pharmacy stores, Angry Otter liquor stores, feed mills, bulk petroleum facilities, restaurants, and gas station/convenience stores. Our goal is to provide a range of products and services that support our member-owners and help build, fuel, feed, and grow Western Canadian communities together.

About the Role

We're seeking a Full-Time Liquor Store Associate to join our team at our Westbank location. As a Liquor Store Associate, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing register transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Process register transactions, refunds, and returns, and activate gift cards
  • Ensure the register drawer is balanced at the end of shift following company procedures
  • Stock, face, and rotate products on the shelves
  • Receive, check, and put away deliveries
  • Keep the store and storage areas clean and organized
  • Utilize product knowledge to promote sales
  • Contribute to the team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Liquor retail experience is preferred
  • Serving it Right license is required
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Problem solver and quick learner
  • WSET 1 accreditation is an asset
  • Ability to physically lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for full 8 hour shift
  • Must be committed to a SAFE working environment
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be over 19 years of age to be considered
  • Must have open availability and be able to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and late evenings
