Job Title: Truck Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Motorway Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks and trailers. This includes inspecting and testing mechanical units, adjusting and replacing parts, and performing scheduled maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity
  • Standing for extended periods
