We are a bakery company that specializes in creating delicious pastries, bread, and cakes for our customers. We are looking for a skilled Bakery Assistant to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Assistant to assist our team in preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for baking and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Assist in preparing and baking a variety of pastries, bread, and cakes according to recipes and special customer orders.
- Material Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by inspecting kitchen and food service areas.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the team to meet production deadlines and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Skills: Accurate, dependable, excellent oral and written communication, judgement, reliability, team player, patience.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, tight deadlines.
