Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Shipping Associate to join our team at Qualitrol Company. As a Shipping Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of products from our warehouse to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pack products using warehousing equipment, such as pallet jacks or hoists, to ensure accurate and efficient shipping.
  • Generate and secure shipping paperwork and labels for each shipment, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Receive material in Oracle and generate shipping paperwork accurately and promptly, minimizing delays and errors.
  • Manage shipping inventory, ensuring it is moved and stored in the designated area in the warehouse, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Back up in shippers' absence, providing seamless support and ensuring continuity of operations.
  • Order necessary supplies for the shipping department, maintaining a well-stocked and efficient operation.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and take part in regular cleaning and maintenance, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Meet customer order specifics in a timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operate warehouse machinery safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime and errors.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lb and perform basic physical tasks, with a strong focus on safety and ergonomics.
  • Experience with domestic and international shipping, including knowledge of relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
