Position Overview

Join our team at PRITCHARD AUTOBODY & GLASS INC. as an Automotive Body Painter. We are seeking a skilled professional to enhance the appearance and integrity of vehicles through expert painting and refinishing techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Estimation: Assess repair costs based on detailed damage reports.
  • Workspace Maintenance: Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Surface Preparation: File, grind, and sand body surfaces to prepare for repairs.
  • Painting Preparation: Mask and tape auto body surfaces to ensure precision during painting.
  • Part Replacement: Remove damaged components and install new parts through bolting or welding.
  • Painting Application: Apply primers and paint to restore vehicle surfaces.
  • Color Matching: Mix paint to achieve desired colors and finishes.
  • Repair Techniques: Utilize soldering equipment or plastic fillers to address holes, dents, and seams.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years in a similar role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
