Mental Health Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Primary Care department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.
About the Role:- Assess and develop care plans for individuals with mental health and addiction challenges
- Provide counseling and therapy services to promote mental well-being and resilience
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Develop and implement programs to promote health and wellness in our communities
- A comprehensive benefit package, including extended health and dental coverage
- Four weeks of vacation time with one year of continuous service

- Bachelor's degree in an Allied Health, Behavioral, or Social Science field
- Two years of recent experience in a health setting working with complex care clients
- Current valid BC driver's license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to promote person-centered care and sensitivity to diverse cultures and preferences
