Stable Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stable Boss to join our team at G&G Sporthorses Ltd.
Job Summary:The Stable Boss will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our horse breeding and training facility. This includes managing the care and well-being of our horses, supervising a team of staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our farm equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the daily care and maintenance of our horses, including feeding, grooming, and veterinary care.
- Supervise a team of staff, including trainers, grooms, and farmhands.
- Oversee the operation of our farm equipment and machinery, including tractors, forklifts, and feeding and watering systems.
- Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of our horses and staff.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.
- Collaborate with our training team to develop and implement training programs for our horses.
- Assist with the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The Stable Boss will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload. The position requires the ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with exposure to dust, noise, and other hazards. The Stable Boss will be required to work outdoors and in a rural area.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours of Work:35-40 hours per week.
