Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bi Analyst to join our team at CMHC. As a key member of our Financial Solutions group, you will play a critical role in reviewing, underwriting, and recommending approval of applications for financing under the National Housing Strategy (NHS) and existing CMHC programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and assess affordable, multi-unit housing applications for new construction and repairs.
  • Manage risk by exercising prudence and due diligence while reviewing, assessing, and approving applications.
  • Maintain quality relationships with clients to understand their needs and objectives and explore opportunities.
  • Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders by offering support, communicating key decisions, interpreting policies and responding to inquiries related to programs.
Requirements
  • An Undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, and/or Commerce.
  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in credit/financial analysis.
  • Bilingualism (English and French).
  • Knowledge of construction financing, multi-unit underwriting, and credit risk analysis.
  • Experience in building reports and/or in using statistical analysis software such as MS Excel or Power BI.
