Office Cleaner

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to join our team at Newgen Cleaners Incorporated. As an Office Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and hygienic environment
- Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a tidy appearance
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to remove dirt and debris
- Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to prevent the spread of germs
- Lost and Found
- Handle and report lost and found items to ensure they are returned to their rightful owners
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees
- Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing
- Support social and labor market integration of newcomers and refugees by facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training
- Recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster
- Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees
- Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees
- Support for Indigenous People
- Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations
- Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
- Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers
- Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a team of dedicated professionals
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
