Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Recruiter to join our team at Capital One Canada. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and attracting top talent in the tech industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process for specialized positions, including creating compelling position descriptions, sourcing diverse candidate pipelines, and negotiating job offers.
  • Source stellar candidates using innovative sourcing techniques, such as search engines, career sites, and recruiting events.
  • Provide a great end-to-end recruiting experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Advise clients and leadership on market trends and recommend effective ways to attract and recruit great talent.
  • Develop candidate pipeline strategies to fill open positions.
  • Consult with hiring managers on their talent needs and conduct job interviews.
  • Leverage recruiting data to provide status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a full life-cycle recruiter in a corporate environment, preferably in the tech industry.
  • 3+ years of experience collaborating with recruiting managers and peers on sourcing strategies.
  • 2+ years of experience leveraging sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Google x-ray searches.
  • 2+ years of experience creating and updating talent maps.
  • Experience independently partnering with leadership on hiring initiatives.
  • Ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
