About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Manager Reliability/Asset Integrity to lead our Reliability and Asset Integrity team at 09 Irving Oil Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the mechanical integrity of our assets and driving business reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement reliability and asset integrity programs to improve business reliability and reduce risk.
  • Lead the Reliability and Asset Integrity team in support of day-to-day maintenance and reliability needs.
  • Collaborate with technical SMEs to ensure sound engineering and inspection principles are adhered to.
  • Develop and implement performance management programs to ensure alignment and drive business results.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive collaboration and engagement.
  • Accountable for accurate, complete, and consistent equipment program risk priorities and optimization across the refinery and terminals facilities.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to adjust communication style to fit the needs of the audience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively to teach as well as learn from others.
  • Strong respect for diversity and others' working, learning, and communications styles.
  • Knowledge/certification with API CRE codes and standards (Specifically SCIMI and SCCM).
  • Working knowledge and awareness of jurisdictional acts and regulations (boiler and pressure vessel and pipeline).

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering from a recognized University.
  • PEng designation.
  • Minimum 15-20 years of experience in a heavy industrial environment; refining preferred.
  • 5-10+ years of experience as a people leader with well-developed, collaborative leadership skills.
