Job Summary

CHELA TRANSPORT LTD is seeking a skilled Plumber - Pipefitting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors, ensuring accurate and precise measurements.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing, taking into account factors such as flow rates and pressure.
  • Estimate costs and materials, providing detailed breakdowns for project planning and budgeting purposes.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size, using a variety of tools and equipment.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment, ensuring strong and durable connections.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in pipefitting and plumbing, with a strong understanding of piping systems and materials.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
