Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Travellers Restaurant. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dining area, counters, and storage areas
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a food service environment an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
