About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter and Renovation Specialist to join our team at DS Renovation Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Management: Schedule and coordinate work on sites, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Construction and Renovation: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Skilled Tradesperson: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Supervision: Supervise other workers and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: Construction, renovation, commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
  • Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and working in physically demanding environments.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, judgement, reliability, team player, and punctuality.
Working Conditions
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
