About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team at Knight Demolition & Excavating Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck to transport materials and equipment to various job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a dump truck to transport materials and equipment to job sites, ensuring safe and efficient delivery.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload materials from the dump truck, following all safety protocols.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other team members to coordinate transportation and logistics.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the dump truck, including checking oil, fuel, and tire pressure.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 or A driver's license with Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Experience operating a dump truck in a construction or excavation environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with dispatch and other team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
