Job Title: Landscaping Foreman/Woman

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team at Alpha Better Landscaping Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of outdoor spaces, including gardens, lawns, and other landscaping features. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and technical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to project timelines.
  • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
  • Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features.
  • Plan and estimate labor and materials for projects, ensuring budgetary and scheduling requirements are met.
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, and read blueprints and drawings as required.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Canadian Nursery Landscape Association (CNLA) certification.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and heavy workloads.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and clients.
