Job Title: Truck Driver - Long Haul

At Ten48 Trucking Ltd., we are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Load and unload goods, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks, maintaining vehicle condition and inspecting equipment.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, recording cargo details and hours of service.
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organized and reliable individual.
