About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Elyon African Kitchen. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our menu offerings meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to inform menu planning and purchasing decisions.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to prepare and present high-quality dishes.
  • Collaborate with our events team to plan and execute catering services for special events and functions.
  • Ensure that all kitchen operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a senior kitchen management role.
  • Proven track record of success in menu planning, food cost control, and kitchen operations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
