Job Title: Dump Truck Driver

Eddy's Demolition & Excavation Ltd. is seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to operate our fleet of dump trucks. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • DZ class license
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with various locations and will be required to work independently with minimal supervision.
