About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Director to lead our institutional building projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of large-scale projects in building mechanicals, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to project teams, ensuring that projects are delivered in accordance with client requirements and company standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Act as a technical reference in building mechanicals, providing solutions to complex engineering problems and sharing knowledge with junior employees.
  • Client Management: Meet with clients to assess their needs, prepare proposals, and establish budgets and schedules. Ensure effective communication with clients to assess project progress and address any issues that may arise.
  • Team Management: Coordinate the work of team members and various professionals, ensuring collaboration with other internal disciplines to deliver projects in a timely manner.
  • Contract Management: Monitor contracts, including budgets, and draft contract amendments as necessary.
  • Human Resources Management: Conduct hiring, performance evaluations, and participate in the salary review process. Ensure a healthy work environment conducive to performance and maintain and develop team members' skills.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate and implement methods, procedures, and tools to increase the quality of services, optimize work methods, and increase productivity.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Experience: 20 years of professional experience in consulting engineering, preferably in the private, public, or semi-public building sectors.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of financial concepts, excellent budget monitoring skills, negotiation and communication skills, proven project management abilities, and strong technical credibility.
