Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Maharaja Catering Ltd. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food is handled and presented in a safe and hygienic manner.
  • Team Management: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Cleanliness: Clean kitchen and work areas, and ensure that all equipment and utensils are clean and in good working order.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
