Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Subway Sandwiches. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports as required
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a team to achieve goals
