Pastry Chef

The Hensh Corporation is seeking a dedicated Baker to join our culinary team. This role is essential in crafting a variety of baked goods that meet our high standards of quality and creativity.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 to less than 7 months in a baking environment is preferred.
- Prepare dough for a range of products including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet items, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, following established recipes or special customer requests.
- Create pastries for significant events such as weddings and birthdays.
- Order and manage inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for baking operations.
- Bake various doughs and batters to perfection.
- Train and mentor staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
- Handle special orders with precision and care.
- Supervise baking staff and kitchen operations to ensure efficiency.
- Decorate and frost cakes and other baked products to enhance presentation.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet established standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen and food service areas.
- Manage sales and merchandising of baked goods effectively.
- Prepare dishes accommodating customers with food allergies or intolerances.
