Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Care Worker to provide essential support to individuals in a private household setting. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
Work Environment
  • Non-smoking environment.
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis, not a condition of employment.
Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Administer prescribed medications as needed.
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene tasks.
  • Encourage and assist clients in regular physical activities, such as walking.
  • Change non-sterile dressings as required.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe environment.
  • Plan and prepare therapeutic diets and nutritious meals.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social engagements.
Certifications
  • CPR Certificate is required.
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate is preferred.
Target Audience
  • Focus on providing care for adults, particularly females.
Security and Safety
  • Criminal record check is mandatory.
  • References will be required.
  • A medical examination is necessary.
Transportation Requirements
  • A valid driver's license is required.
Work Details
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
