About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Specialist to join our team at Elite Interiors Systems Inc. as a Drywall Finisher and Installer. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall in various commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Finishing: Apply successive coats of compound, sand seams and joints, and smooth out excess compound to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Preparation: Clean and prepare surfaces for installation, and cure freshly plastered surfaces to ensure a strong bond.
  • Tools and Equipment: Operate a taping machine, use a broad knife to fill joints and holes, and work with various power tools and hand tools.
  • Work Environment: Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and in dusty environments.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing.
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, manual dexterity, and standing for extended periods.
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding, repetitive tasks, and work under pressure.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, reliability, and team player.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety. They will be required to work at heights, in dusty environments, and in various locations.
