Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at National Crane Inc. as a Heavy Haul Specialist. This is a permanent position that requires a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate a variety of heavy equipment, including straight trucks, semi-trailer trucks, and specialized equipment such as stone slingers and concrete mixers.
  • Transport Goods: Transport goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely delivery and handling of cargo.
  • Maintain Vehicles: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Handle Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Meet Safety Standards: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including those related to hazardous materials and equipment operation.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks), Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles), Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs), handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position that requires a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and teamwork. The work environment is dusty, and the employee must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
