Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at FirstService Residential. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our properties, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and service restrooms, including restocking supplies and ensuring proper hygiene practices.
  • Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors and stairways, as well as clean and dust surfaces.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities team, and assist with minor repairs as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, such as cleaning windows, mirrors, and fixtures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning services preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
