Position Overview

Join our dedicated team at Care and Fun Childcare Limited as an Early Childhood Educator. This is a permanent position that offers a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week. We seek individuals who are passionate about fostering the growth and development of young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist colleagues with daily tasks, including housekeeping and meal preparation.
  • Design and execute educational programs that enhance the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth of children.
  • Maintain and care for daycare resources and equipment.
  • Evaluate children's progress and communicate findings to parents.
  • Support lead educators in implementing developmental programs.
  • Facilitate engaging activities such as storytelling, music, and excursions.
  • Help maintain accurate records as required by early childhood education standards.
  • Encourage creativity through various artistic and physical activities.
  • Guide children in developing healthy habits related to nutrition, dressing, and personal care.
  • Stay informed about licensing regulations and compliance.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss children's development and address any concerns.
  • Build and sustain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers.
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment that prioritizes children's health and well-being.
Qualifications
  • Certification in Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR.
  • Completion of an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
Safety and Security
  • Pass a Child Abuse Registry check.
  • Complete a Vulnerable Sector check.
