Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at CANADIAN TAX & FINANCIAL SERVICES INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating seminars, conferences, and daily operations, as well as supervising other workers and establishing office procedures and routines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling appointments and managing contracts
  • Supervise other workers and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient office operations
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information, and compile data, statistics, and other information as required
  • Advise senior management on administrative matters and respond to employee questions and complaints
  • Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role
  • Permanent employment with 36 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
