Job Summary

Genie Distributors Inc. is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our warehouse team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials within our warehouse facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload products and materials from trucks, containers, and other equipment.
  • Material Movement: Move products and materials within the warehouse using manual or mechanical equipment.
  • Weighing and Labeling: Weigh products and materials, and apply labels as required.
  • Packing and Unpacking: Pack and unpack products and materials for storage or shipment.
  • Sorting and Stacking: Sort and stack products and materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Work Environment

As a Material Handler, you will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a high level of physical activity. You will be required to lift, bend, and move heavy loads, and work in a variety of weather conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train on the job.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs), work in a fast-paced environment, and handle heavy loads.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
