Agricultural Equipment Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Equipment Technician to join our team at Rocky Mountain Equipment LP. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our agricultural equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Instruct and mentor apprentices in equipment maintenance and repair techniques.
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions and perform repair work on heavy trucks and other agricultural equipment.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in agricultural equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
