Job Title: HR Coordinator

Canada Goose Holdings Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR Coordinator to join our team. As an HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the HR function and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the HR Business Partner in developing and implementing HR programs and initiatives to support business objectives.
  • Provide HR generalist support to various departments, including employee relations, labor relations, health and safety, compensation, recruitment, and performance management.
  • Administer employee perk programs and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Represent Canada Goose at job fairs, recruiting events, and open houses to promote the company culture and values.
  • Track and administer referral bonus programs and assist in the composition and distribution of reward statements.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Prepare internal HR-related documents, including employment, promotion, and transfer letters, termination forms, and other HR-related correspondence.
  • Handle and manage CNESST claims, facilitate leave of absence, and safe return to work programs.
  • Assist with safety and health programs to support the well-being of employees in the facility.
  • Ensure HRIS data is up-to-date and accurate and recommend process improvements for the system.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of appropriate documentation throughout employment history for all employees.
  • Support and lead various HR projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • A post-secondary education in Human Resources or Industrial Relations.
  • 2+ years of human resources experience.
  • Health and Safety training, including Joint Health and Safety Committee education and experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development within the HR profession.
  • Working knowledge of employment legislation in Canada and Human Rights legislation.
  • Well-versed in many HR functional competencies and best practices.
  • Working knowledge in CNESST.
  • Creativity and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of change and ambiguity.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent grammar, business letter, and report writing skills.
  • A clear and succinct communicator (verbal and written).
  • Ability to think proactively, critically, and independently to make good decisions.
  • Understand and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • A team player who builds strong relationships based on trust and integrity.
  • A clear sense of urgency to achieve results. A 'can-do', 'let's make it happen' attitude.
  • Embrace continuous improvement by proposing new and/or better ways of doing things.
  • Excellent technical ability (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, HRIS).
  • Fluent in French and English.
