About the Role:

The Saskatchewan Healthcare Recruitment Agency is seeking a highly skilled Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) to join our team at the Saskatchewan Health Authority. As an MRT, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical diagnostic imaging services to patients throughout the province.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and assist in medical imaging exams, including general x-ray, Computed Tomography (CT) scans, and other specialized procedures.
  • Work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and emergency departments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide patient-centered care.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in specialized areas, such as mammography, angiography, and CT.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Medical Radiologic Technology, registered with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists and the Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
  • Previous experience as a general duty MRT, with a minimum of 24 months of experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
