About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will play a critical role in leading and guiding our team members to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team to meet production schedules and deliver high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide coaching and counseling to employees to address performance and behavioral issues.
  • Participate in daily team meetings and contribute to the development of team goals and objectives.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as payroll, scheduling, and shift reports.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field such as business, operations, or manufacturing.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and other manufacturing software.
