About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our Hardgoods department at Sport Chek. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales associates to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and coaching sessions to provide feedback and guidance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience and drive sales growth.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure optimal product offerings and pricing.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to ensure Sport Chek remains competitive.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail sales management role.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of sales strategies and tactics.
