Senior ETL Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ETL Developer to join our team at Nexus Systems Group Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement complex data transformations to load target databases from multiple systems.
  2. Monitor and troubleshoot data loads to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  3. Collaborate with ETL Design and Project Leads to understand business requirements and identify systems issues.
  4. Participate in design sessions and code reviews to ensure high-quality solutions.
  5. Develop test scenarios and perform in-depth unit tests to ensure data integrity.
  6. Define ETL job sequences and dependencies, including error logging and restart processes.
  7. Develop ETL processes based on Business Requirements Documents.
  8. Participate in Agile team meetings to ensure alignment and progress.

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 3-5 years of experience in ETL/DI development.
  • 3+ years of development experience using data programming languages such as Python, Pyspark.
  • 3+ years of experience in IBM Infosphere tool suite (DataStage & QualityStage).
  • 3+ years of development with database technologies and 1+ year of experience with data warehousing methodologies.
  • Teradata experience is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology.
  • Familiarity with JIRA.
