Continuous Improvement Specialist Job Description

We are currently in search of a Continuous Improvement Specialist to become a part of our team at Victaulic, a global frontrunner in grooved mechanical pipe joining and flow control solutions. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing our continuous improvement agenda and achieving significant outcomes in productivity and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and lead improvement workshops to execute continuous enhancement strategies
  • Advocate for process optimization and lean manufacturing principles
  • Deliver thorough training on improvement methodologies to team members
  • Encourage a collaborative environment and foster employee involvement
  • Enhance productivity and product availability through targeted initiatives

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Post-Secondary Education in engineering or a related discipline
  • Certifications in Lean Manufacturing and other pertinent qualifications
  • 5-10 years of experience in a production environment
  • Practical experience with Lean Principles
  • Strong interpersonal and project management capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated training experience
  • Proficient in computer and presentation tools
