Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

GORILLA TRANSPORT is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations to ensure efficient transportation.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Financial Transactions: Pay and receive payments for goods in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Record Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption accurately.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and securing it properly.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
