Job Title: IT Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Development Manager to join our team at Ocean Front Suites at Cowichan Bay. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures for IT projects
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems
  • Authorize the development of specifications for products or services
  • Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines
  • Manage incidents and ensure minimal disruption to our operations
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in IT development and management
  • Permanent position
  • English language proficiency
  • 30 hours per week
