Assistant Pastor, Children Ministry

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our pastoral team as an Assistant Pastor, Children Ministry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing our children's ministry, creating a safe and engaging environment for kids to grow in their faith.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive children's ministry strategy aligned with our church's mission and values.
  • Lead and equip a team of volunteers to support the children's ministry.
  • Design and deliver engaging children's programs, including Sunday school, youth groups, and special events.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to children, families, and staff.
  • Collaborate with other pastoral staff to ensure a cohesive and effective ministry team.

Requirements:

  • A degree from an accredited evangelical seminary or university.
  • At least three years of experience in Christian children's ministry in North America.
  • Strong communication and teaching skills.
  • A burden for children and a passion for discipleship.
  • Appreciation for cultural diversity and ability to work with diverse groups.
