Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Travelodge Toronto East. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals to ensure staff are meeting performance expectations.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Select and purchase equipment and supplies to maintain a high level of service quality.
    • Co-ordinate inspection of assigned areas to ensure compliance with safety standards and departmental policies.
  • Financial Management
    • Maintain accurate financial records to ensure budgetary control.
  • Guest Services
    • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
