About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to join our team at Firefox Counselling Ltd. as an Intake Worker.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' situations and needs to determine the most suitable services.
  • Provide mediation services to facilitate effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Take necessary protective actions to ensure client safety and well-being.
  • Perform administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of our services.
  • Offer counsel and therapy to help clients overcome social and personal challenges.
  • Develop and deliver educational programs to promote awareness and understanding of our services.
  • Supervise and support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a clinic setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
